Description
Create a coordinated hat-and-scarf set with this fun knit pattern! The scarf includes a clever ribbed loop feature—simply thread one end through to secure it without any fussy knots. Perfect for keeping cozy in style, whether you're treating yourself or surprising someone special. Originally designed with Mary Maxim's Titan bulky yarn (80 yards per 3 oz skein), this pattern works beautifully with our full range of bulky-weight options. Note that yardage requirements may differ depending on which yarn you choose for your project. Materials List: MC Med Grey (2 skeins), Coral and Taupe (1 skein each), 24" circular knitting needles size U.S. 10 (6 mm), double point needles size 10 (6 mm). Finished: Scarf 5.5 x 38" (14 x 96.5 cm). Hat: 20" (51 cm) circumference. Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, increase, repeat, slip, increase, decrease, cast on, cast off.

Nice weight for layering
I absolutely loved making this Afghan. It was a wedding gift. The instructions were clear and there were very few missed steps on my part. It actually went pretty quickly.. The finished product was beautiful and looked just like the picture. The yarn was a joy to work with. The cream with flex was a beautiful color. I highly recommend this kit.

It turned out beautifully
The pattern itself has been a really interesting challenge, as my first colorwork piece. It's just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. The kit is great, it had just enough yarn for everything, and some leftover for my first few mistakes! It didn't come with any closure (buttons/zipper), but I'm actually glad for that, as I'm quite picky with that sort of thing and am happy to find my own.
Overall, I'm very glad to have purchased and knitted the whole thing! Definitely recommend, and I was thrilled to be able to support a MI brand.
