Make an essential sweater fun to wear on those cooler days! With this vintage graph-style pattern, you can create a Pheasant Hunt Cardigan that is perfect for those cooler days and is sure to keep them warm and comfortable. Pattern features instructions for raglan or set-in sleeves, button or zipper closure. Created originally with Mary Maxim Northland yarn, which had 80 yards per skein at the time, we now offer a fantastic selection of bulky yarns to match your unique style. Keep in mind that the yardage may vary. We recommend Premier Puzzle Solids with 328 yds/7 oz skeins! You'll also need U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm) needles to complete this must-have piece. Includes Ladies' and Youth sizes 32-34-36 only. You can also find this design in Men's and Ladies' or Men' Childrens' sizes!
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, slip, cast on, cast off, colored pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting method.

Nice weight for layering
I absolutely loved making this Afghan. It was a wedding gift. The instructions were clear and there were very few missed steps on my part. It actually went pretty quickly.. The finished product was beautiful and looked just like the picture. The yarn was a joy to work with. The cream with flex was a beautiful color. I highly recommend this kit.

It turned out beautifully
The pattern itself has been a really interesting challenge, as my first colorwork piece. It's just the right amount of challenge without being overwhelming. The kit is great, it had just enough yarn for everything, and some leftover for my first few mistakes! It didn't come with any closure (buttons/zipper), but I'm actually glad for that, as I'm quite picky with that sort of thing and am happy to find my own.
Overall, I'm very glad to have purchased and knitted the whole thing! Definitely recommend, and I was thrilled to be able to support a MI brand.
