36” circular bamboo Takumi needles are making knitting this afghan a pleasure again. The metal needles I was using had a tiny slight ‘catch’ or scratch at the tip and it was catching. These bamboo needles are completely smooth, and the joining point to the nylon cables is also very smooth. Many thanks to how quickly Mary Maxim processed my order..

I simply love the Clover Takumi circular needles as the knitting is smooth and the cord is supple.

I have quite a few Clover Takumi needles. Whereas they are not as smooth as metal needles, at least the coating does not wear off and leave you with nothing but bare metal. I have never had a problem with the plastic separating from the wood and especially appreciate the size of the needles printed on the needles themselves.

If given a choice, I always prefer to use bamboo knitting needles. Fewer dropped stitches and split threads. But the most compelling reason is the unmatched comfort and organic feeling of bamboo offers.

I bought these for a circular yoke sweater. The length is just what I needed,the joins are smooth as is the bamboo.

First time using circular needles. I have started knitting a very basic knitted blanket. so far so good. I do prefer bamboo needles because they are not slippery like the others.

Just love knitting with the bamboo needles, they are light weight and very easy to use. They come in all the sizes that are popular.

Will not purchasing from Mary Maxim as postage rates are to high. I returned needles for 3 x 92 cent stamps and was soaked 12.99 postage which was not credited. Also had to pay 17.99 for replacement needles I ordered.

I have quite a few Clover Takumi circular knitting needles. Have had no problems, and I like the fact that their sizes are printed in the needle itself, so I am not constantly looking for my needle gage. Maybe not as smooth as a medal needle but smooth enough.

These needles are great! No matter the project, no matter the yarn, they work very smoothly. I wish I had these in every size. 36 inches especially great for large projects like afghans.

These needles are very pointy, and feature a long taper to the point on each end. If you tend to push down on the tips of the needles when knitting, these will be too pointy for you and will hurt your fingers.

The bamboo is nice to work with because of the feel of the wood in your hands. Bamboo needles cut down on the slipperiness of the yarn on the needles, so if you like it to be very slippery so the stitches slide very easily, then you might not like bamboo needles so much. Of course, needles can also be too slippery which makes it easy for the stitches to slide off and become dropped stitches.

I appreciate that this circular needle was available in the long size - 36 inches. Sometimes it's hard to find the long ones.

I was tracking the shipping to Burnaby BC, and it kept saying delivery would be "tomorrow" for several days. Then it changed to "delay" for a few days. Finally it arrived after 10 days, when the original shipping estimate had been 1-2 days. Amazing that after spending $12.00 to ship something that was basically standard letter weight, it took 10 days to come from Ontario.

Great finish, cables don't twist while knitting and size perfect for lighter weight yarns.

I love my circular needles which are the perfect size for making a white afghan from a Mary Maxim kit.

Love these needles! Wish you would carry the interchangeable needles and cables! My dogs and cats love them as chew toys! I need to replace because I like them too.
