Designed by MJ's Off The Hook. A classic cardigan worked from the top down with raglan shaping, button-up front and roomy patch pocket and minimal finishing. Length can be easily adjusted. Kit includes Mary Maxim Starlette Ragg yarn and pattern. Requires crochet hooks I-9 (5.5 mm) and J-10 (6 mm). Buttons not included. Intermediate crochet.

Stitch Requirements: Chain, back loop only, double crochet, front loop only, half double crochet, repeat, single crochet, skip, slip stitch.

Nice looking cardigan

This was the first sweater I've crocheted, and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The yarn was nice to work with, and the pattern was fairly clear and detailed. (The directions with the multiple sizes were a bit confusing in a couple of spots but I eventually figured it out.) I appreciated that there was virtually no seaming in the whole sweater - the only thing that needed sewing was the pockets.

I really liked this kit. It worked up really well. It was a little tricky at places but the video that is available for this cardigan was extremely helpful. The yarn made seeing the stitches a little harder because of the two colors but the end results were well worth it. I am now making a second one for me. I gave the one in denim ragg as a Christmas gift and it was well received.

The beautiful yarn in this kit was a joy to work with. Yes, I already made this sweater and wore it for the first time yesterday. The pattern is very clearly written and the video tutorial helpful. Being a top down style, it was easy to try on and alter the fit as I crocheted. Truly enjoyable project!
