I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.
These are so easy to make that kids could make them with only a little supervision. Look great and price is good too.

I just completed this sweater and love it! The instructions were easy to follow! It’s not for beginner knitters though.
A very easy knit/perl pattern. The wool was heavier than I expected but very soft. I made a large (I wear 12/14) and think that I would have been better with a medium as the sleeve seam was over my shoulder.
I wasn't sure which other color to get for this nice pattern I bought a second one. I do like this yarn color though and I saw someone made it in this color too.

I have used this yarn in the blueberry color for a different sweater. This time I bought the kit in the color Sweet Stuff. I just started this sweater and I love the way it is striping, just as shown in the photograph. The stripes were much thicker in the blueberry color. I like the stripes in the Sweet Stuff color better. This is a nice easy pattern to follow. It will be a gift for my daughter-in-law and we both are loving the way it is knitting up. The yarn is great to work with.

I like the sweater it was easy to knit and fast. They do need to fix the pattern because the two fronts are the same. I also think it would be better if the sleeves were done in a raglan sleeve they would sit on your shoulders better. I also think if they did the edges with a slip and purl edge, it would make it easier to sew together. I agree with the other reviews the shoulders are a little wide but I do like the sweater.
It is a beautiful pattern and yarn but got way to large for me so I gave it to my cousin
