Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!
I love this yarn! I make baby blankets to donate to local places. The yarn is soft, doesn't split, and has a great colo selection. AND its machine wash and dry!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

I love the finished afghan! I started it in October 2024 as a Christmas present for my mom. I didn't finish until January 2025. I mailed it to her anyway. She loved it, but died a few weeks later. My son has it now. My husband really liked it too, so I made another one for my husband. I started it in January and finished it in time for his June birthday.
There is plenty of yarn to complete the project. I didn't like that some different colored yarn had different thicknesses, but it still looks good. I would suggest that you have plenty of bobbins on hand before you start. It would be nice if some were included in the kit.
The directions were straight forward, but I found using a ruler really helped keep my place on the chart.
Absolutely love this kit. Makes a great gift!! My only complaint is when a different yarn is substituted for the Starlette yarn. It’s never the same thickness.

Small scrap yarns unlabled, no idea color name or #. A Kit should always have at least full skeins of every color even if it doesn't need a full skein. I would not recommend a graphogan to anyone, to many strings to tuck, paper graph should also be numbered by row. Not being numbered makes it really hard to follow. Also Paper graph should be LARGER. My Opinion is, it's HORRIBLE! The yarn Splits like a chewed up toothpick & it fuzzes & pills as it is being worked, can't imagine what it will look like after a wash.. Just the WORST!

Lovely throw! The constant color changes present the only difficultly in completing this afghan. Highly recommend using bobbins for ease.
I have been crocheting for 40+ years. I was commissioned to work this and another of these graphgans. I was extremely excited to work something so adorable.
Positive-
1. Yarn is soft
2. Design is cute
3. Kit is helpful with a zipper bag
Negative-
1. Each color square has yarn that has to stay attached each time you turn the blanket
2. You'll end up with over 10 colors hanging from the blanket for most of the time
3. Each turn you have to straighten out your work or you'll regret life as you know it
4. You'll end up hating the person that designed this and yourself
5. It'll take a full day just to get 20 rows done and I am a fast crocheter
This is advanced work, it's simple to crochet, but you really need to know what you're doing to keep it from becoming a mess. Don't listen to all the reviews that say they'll buy more, you'll never want to do this type of crochet again. I love graphgans, but there are many spots where the designer has you only single crochet a color, seriously annoying!
Try to enjoy yourself by putting some good music on and remember that it'll be super cute when you complete it. Good Luck!

This afghan is a challenge, but worth it. The grid is very small so this is how I solved it. I wrote out every line, a few at a time. My eyes floated to another line using the grid. Written out worked out better for me. I’m on line 120 now and hope I have enough yarn. This is project is not for the faint of heart. As I bought 2, I’m a glutton for punishment. LOL I’ve been crocheting for 45 yrs.

The yarn is very nice quality. I love the design. Haven't gotten much done on the Afghan yet. The package it came in is great. All the yarn packaged in a zippered bag keeps it nicely.
The yarn is nice, love the shade of red. The detailed chart looks good but the squares are very small for old eyes. I actually have not started it yet but am excited to do so.

Haven't started this yet but looking forward to it. It comes in a nice clear plastic bag with a zipper closure that I can store it in once finished with it, or while working on it. Very pleased with the yarn and should be an enjoyable project.

I have always wanted to make this afghan and I finally got it. I have never done this type of afghan with the pattern crocheted in so I had some learning to do but the instructions were quite clear. I find the yarn to be of good quality and that helps the project come out better.

I absolutely loved making this throw. I enjoyed it so much I ended up ordering another one. It was so much fun to make. Graph was really easy to follow and sometimes you have a lot of colours going at once. It was amazing and everyone loved it.
As someone fairly new to changing colours in crocheting I found this pattern fairly easy to follow
