Love this yarn! So soft. Very easy to work with.
I am a complete newbie. Never knew how to knit but I practiced and learnt all the required techniques before I worked with my actual yarn. The multi coloured intarsia is quite hard for beginners so I would recommend using only 2 colours for intarsia and duplicate stitch the remaining colours and details. Completed the prohject in 1.5 months and while it definitely doesn't look as good as an experienced knitter since I've made a lot of mistakes on the intarsia parts, I am very proud of my cardigan :> Amaze amaze amaze!
I love this yarn! I make baby blankets to donate to local places. The yarn is soft, doesn't split, and has a great colo selection. AND its machine wash and dry!

I was very happy with my yarn! I ordered 12 , I got 9 of 1 color and 3 of another color. Plenty of each to make lots of items. I received the cones which I was really happy about . I got a nice mixture of the small skeins that came with each one. This should last me a long time but I would definitely order again. What a great value!

The Vintage Wallpaper Throw is an easy and fun project! I loved crocheting this throw and took it everywhere. People would come up to me and ask me about it and want to touch the yarn which is very soft. Of course I had to excitedly tell them all about Bag O Day and her easy tutorials! She does have a tutorial of this throw which I used a couple times for the border. I have never put a border on a blanket before. I love how quick and easy the half double crochet stitch is, it’s also my favorite stitch so far. This kit or the finished project would make a great gift! I will buy this again in other colors.

A while back I purchased this cotton yarn in the same colors to make some Christmas hot pads. They came out beautiful so I was excited to see this pattern for pot holders made with the same yarn. I immediately made one pot holder the same day I received the kit and it turned out great. I will be working on the other two in the set before Christmas. These pot holders along with the hot pads I already made will make a great addition to Christmas dinner this year. Thank you, Mary Maxim, for another great kit.

I love these things! They're nice and thick, so you could actually use them, but I'll probably use them for decoration instead. There was enough yarn to make four, not the three advertised - a nice plus. The pattern is a little tricky and definitely not for beginners, but managable. Highly recommend these to any Christmas lover with a bit of crochet background.
I am an experienced crochet, not A but better than ok. It took me days to get started with the front and the back was worse. Maybe that’s the way star patterns are written but I’d say that a beginner wouldn’t follow it. I’d rate the kit a C-.

I made these for Christmas gifts. They worked up fast and looked great. The girls loved them.
Since the potholders are double, they can also be used as a hotpad. The pattern was easy to follow.
Very striking looking design. A couple very small errors in the pattern, but very easy to figure out. I think I am going to be able to get 4 potholders out of the kit by doing 3 as shown, and then doing a 4th with the red and green reversed (so, a green edge right around the snowflake and then red for the back piece and outside edge). That will more fully utilize the yarn and give me an extra potholder! Yay!
