A Gorgeous Shawl

Primarily this pattern is extremely hard to read and understand. I got thru the twelfth row and decided to frog and find another pattern. The first thing to mention is it lacks points of reference. I have never done a triangle shawl that did not reference the point in every row. Also, when you've done several row the same as in rows 1- 7 and the next row is a change its good to mention that so we don't have to stop and make sure there's not a mistake. I will admit I am not the most advanced but I have made about 40 different triangle shawls, some more than once. With all the changes in this one a diagram and a video tutorial would be so useful. It is a lovely shawl that I am very disappointed that I can't make.

Horrible yarn

The Prism yarn supplied with the kit is awful. It varies from thin as thread to clumps resembling mohair. After several restarts, I stuffed it back in the bag and started another project. The cost of returning the kit (after paying the delivery fee) didn't make sense.

Shells and Stripes Shawl

It is very pretty. I have started it. However I find it a little difficult to do. I might have to get another skein because I have had to start it over again and it only rips out a little bit and it frays.
