I love this doll. It came as a kit but I made it using worsted weight wool and larger needles so she is about 18 inches tall. Instructions were easy to follow and well written.

I have been knitting since

I have been knitting since I was 8 years old and am now 74, and I have knit for both fun and for profit and have on occasion taught school age students how-to- knit. The instructions could have been written in a little better form to achieve the same end results. I found the instructions for the head and hair to be a somewhat silly way to achieve the end results. Also, since the yarn supplied with the the kit were not what the instructions called for, the end result was not true to form. However, the end product will be loved by the recipient who won't know the difference in the making.
