Worst yarn I ever worked with. Stiff and splits. The pattern is easy to read and work. The yarn should be thrown away.

I love this pattern but the weight of the yarn makes the blanket very rigid and no very pliable. Hopefully that will ease after some useage.

I did not like the bulkiness of the cables. Also the back of the afghan was ugly and needed extra steps to secure the "little pockets" created by making the cables. It would have been nice to have a visual tutorial to refer too.

I'm still in the process

I'm still in the process of crocheting this blanket but it's been a nice project so far! I appreciate that the pattern has a chart and written out instructions. It really helps me visualize what I'm doing since I hadn't crocheted cables before! I'm familiar with Red Hear Super Saver yarns so I know this blanket will be durable and easy clean once complete, which is good since I'm making it for a young engaged couple with several pets!
