Sac et poupée Kitty Kat

I'm an experienced crocheter and I found parts of this pattern confusing. The yarn I received did not match the yarn in the picture. Maybe I'm getting old, but the small hook/stitches in the doll's outfit were hard to work with. The end result is very cute and I'm sure my great niece will love it!

Easy to make. Added my own version to ears for pink, but very cute. Directions were confusing at one point but figured it out

Love the idea, not completely sold on doubling the bottom, will probably make just one next time, doll outfit turned out huge, didn’t like it but I do have multiple patterns for knitted outfits and I knitted the onsie and the hat and my granddaughter loved it.

As soon as I saw this little purse/doll kit pattern on Mary Maxim's website, I knew my little great niece would love it. I am almost done. Need to complete the face of the purse and sew on the straps. I can't wait to send it to her for her birthday.

Kit had ample quantities of yarn and easy to follow directions. Fun to make and a big hit with my soon to be 4 year old granddaughter. Highly recommend.

I like the kits very much. I wishe we could choose the bag color instead of grey.

This is the cutest purse. My granddaughter likes Gabby's Dollhouse so it is perfect for her. The instructions could be a bit clearer on the exact placement of the cat's features.

This was a quick and easy project to complete. The baby doll clothing turned out slightly big for the doll, and I didn’t see any gauge information included. I usually crochet close to gauge, so this may be something to keep in mind. That said, the outfit still turned out cute—just a little loose—and my daughter loved it. She’s a big fan of anything with cats!

One thing to note is that the yarn in the kit didn’t match the pictures. The grey yarn for the purse in the images had white flecks, but the one I received was a solid grey. The same difference applied to the pink yarn.

For the purse handles, I looked up a YouTube tutorial and found that "Romanian Braid Crochet" was a great visual reference for the technique. It was new to me, but I really liked how it turned out!

Overall, I’d recommend this kit to others, but I suggest bringing some highlighters to help break down the clothing instructions. The repeats can be a little tricky to follow, and highlighting key sections would make the process easier.

This pattern was easy to follow and worked up quickly.

It was not as easy as I hoped but I was able to make it. I would suggest a careful review of the instructions. That being said, my granddaughter loves it.

For the most part this was great project. I do like to challenge myself & it did. The purse gave me a couple of issues but I worked through them. The hat was the only thing I didn't like the way it turned out but I decided the 5 year old wouldn't care, she would love it. Over all I'm glad I made it.

The bag turned out just precious. Pattern was easy to follow. A little more difficulty with the baby's outfit but this is more due to my arthritic hands and the small needle.

I know that “stuff happens” but this was the worst ball of Starlerre that I have ever encountered. Sooo many knots and lengths where the white was fuzzy clumps and unusable. Not enough yarn left to do the second base of the purse. Handles are Romanian Cord. Pictures are to dark for my old eyes to see instructions so had to find video on YouTube to complete. I started and ended handles with 4 stitch by 8 row sc tab to sew on to make neater

This was very easy and turned out really cute. Haven't given it to my granddaughter yet, so I'll have to wait on her decision!
