I haven't started this project yet but looking at the pattern it seems very straight forward. lovely design cant wait to start.
I ordered many skeins of this bulky yarn both from Mary Maxim and Premier. Both have comparable prices although Mary Maxim has a few more colors. Whether this yarn is being discontinued or not, it's a top-notch yarn. A nice thick bulky yarn, thicker than the Puzzle solid yarns, but of the same twist, if that makes sense. I've made 2 blankets with this yarn, no complaints in its quality. It's a dream to use, easy to frog, no twisting or splitting, just a pleasure to work with. Now the ends to fray a bit due to the twist. . . But leaving a long tail, thoural weaving in the ends, a drop of fabric glue helps. Of course I'll be buying more!

These ornaments are super cute and not the most difficult to put together. Be advised...if looking to get this kit you will need to purchase 4 in long needles with an eye large enough to accomodate yarn but small enough to fit through the holes on the beads. Upon review of the kit description, I found this crucial piece of information missing. I had to purchase mine from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKSKMWCQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title). These ornaments are a little awkward if you have never put beads onto crochet, but you will get the hang of it. Also, I was able to make 3 of each color just had to purchase extra beads at Hobby Lobby which were much nicer than the ones that came with the kit.

Simple to crochet, but hard to put together. I used the yarn for something else. Not impressed with the quality of the beads.
I am experienced in crochet and beading, so thought that this would be quick project to do to give during the holidays. I made a 4 in. by 4 inch triangle cardboard template, in order to arrange the “branches properly. The crochet was easy - assembly not so much. The beads are not good quality - plastic and poorly made. My first attempt looked like a kindergarten project. It was hard to make the loops symmetrical, even with a template. I will throw the beads away and use the pretty yarn for something else. I have been ordering and enjoying your projects for many years; this is my first negative review.
The kit arrived without the beads. I had to call customer service to get the beads. Everyone was very helpful, but I had to wait about 2 more weeks to get the beads that should have been in the kit. Frustrated with the delay.
