Mosaïque du Pays des Merveilles Hivernales

This one is not for the beginner crocheter. The instructions are good, very in depth, it'll be a good challenge for me, an experienced crocheter.

Everyone that sees this blanket in my home cannot believe I made it. It’s beautiful. The pattern has clear easy to follow instructions and the yarn is fabulous. However, I have 2 complaints. One is a personal preference but I do not like gray. There’s too much of it and I don’t understand the popularity. Second, there was not enough yarn to complete the border. I was almost finished and had to order more yarn. Years and years of buying Mary Maxim kits and only recently I end up short of yarn.

This is my first mosaic pattern, it was easier to do then I thought it was going to be. The pattern was well written and long. However it did not come with enough yarn. I will have to order more to complete the afghan.

I really like this project. I had to order more yarn for the border. It worked up beautifully.

The yarn is nice and included a detailed pattern so I really enjoyed this kit. I like the designer so I was anxious to make this blanket. Maybe my stitches were too loose but I ran out of the red yarn and had to buy another skein. I recommend this kit for anyone who enjoys mosaic crochet!

I am only on the fourth pattern and am enjoying it immensely.Didn't believe you could get this look with out the pain of using two colors at once

At first I was totally confused. But after reading the instructions several times and referring to you tube I figured it out and I am REALLY enjoying it. I may even do another one. They seem to be very popular.

I have been crocheting for many years but I have never tried mosaic. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying it and will source out more patterns/kits afterwards. The instructions were straightforward and pattern is very lovely and varied. I am only giving 4 stars because of a yarn colour substitution. I didn't think the sub was comparable in weight and feel and had trouble with swatch sizing. Once the Premier yarn colour was back in stock, I ordered. I'm glad I waited to start the blanket.

I love this method of crocheting and I like this pattern. I do have a bit of a complaint though. I ordered it in a kit and one of the colors wasn’t available in the Premier yarn so a different yarn was substituted. They said it was of the same quality but it wasn’t and was more “stringy”. It was also 4-ply instead of 3-ply. However it’s a finer 4-ply so it works. What I’ve done so far looks great.

This was a Christmas present for my wife. She absolutely loves it. She hasn’t been able to put it down. Less than a month and she’s more than half way through it. Looking at new one to buy.

Easy pattern, beautiful results. I’ll make it again. The only hitch was that one color was substituted for a different type of yarn other than Premier anti pilling. The quality was good but the color was too close to the white, not enough contrast.

Have not started yet. Just finishing Into the Woods. Both are presents for my adult sons.

Easy to follow pattern! Both print and grafts in color! Yarn is so nice to work with.

I’m new to mosaic crochet looking to take on a challenge Choosing this selection was the right choice. Found this pattern to be a lot of fun. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. The only problem I had was maintaining the size of the stitches ( the faster I go the larger the stitch), but that’s my problem not the pattern’s. I definitely recommend this.

The yarn and colors are wonderful. The blanket is coming along. I love the instructions now I have patterns for more mosaic crochet.

Love making this one. I just about 1/2 way done. Going very well. Although I am not used to working with yarn this thin..LOL.

I just started but I love it. Easy to work. Almost done with the deer. Love the yarn very soft and easy to work with.
