Fil Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK

Pretty good! Not as soft as I was expecting, but it isn't rough by any means. My hands are just super sensitive to texture, but it's fine to wear. Easy to work with, never broke on me, never gathered or got weird. Solid synthetic!

The color is gray. Not the color I expected.

Softer and smaller than Premier DK.Not as fluffy or bulky as Premier. Makes slightly smaller projects. Good for Amigarumi animals and dolls. I like Mary Maxim Mellowspun better than Premier basic DK

My first order from Mary Maxim. I am using the Mellowspun dk Dove yarn for a waffle stitch throw. This yarn is easy to work with (I’m a beginner) and is so very soft. I can’t wait to cuddle with it. Ordering was super easy and I love the various discounts and sales.

This yarn is really soft and works up beautifully. I’ve made 6 blankets with it and the wash & dry great. I highly recommend it!

I purchased Mellowspun yarn to knit hats for newborns for our Pro Life Center (Zoi) in Corona. It so easy to work with and the employees at the center comment about how soft the hats are!!!Great yarn!!!

I really love how soft this yarn is. Easy to work with. I had no issues of the yarn splitting.

Mellowspun material is soft & light. The project I crocheted ended up a bit thinner than I expected it to be, so the shape of the toddler sweater was a bit stretchy but it's ok. I would order again. I like the Denim color & looks lovely finished.

This is my favorite yarn fir baby blankets. The material is super soft and easy to work with.

I understand that colors may vary from dye lot to dye lot, but I ordered denim blue and got gray.
The label does say denim, but it doesn’t come close to the color on my previous order or the color shown on the website.

This yarn is very beautiful and soft. I got the color Dark oak and made a beanie so far and have got so many compliments everywhere I go! I highly suggest it and I can't wait to get other colors! I look forward to making a blanket next!

This is the first time using this yarn and I love it! The yarn is so soft AFTER you are done making your project! It's so comfortable to wear and holds its shape beautifully!

Mellowspun DK crochets up beautifully. It’s wonderful for throws and blankets. The yarn resists pilling, and is great for colorwork. It also runs through the washer nicely and blocks well for those who block their projects. It’s one of my favorite DK’s.

The color does not match the online image. The yarn I received is a much lighter shade. It will not work for the project I planned, but I like it and will try to use it for something else.

Works up great and easy on the hands

Chose this yarn for my second ever crochet project, first time ever making a baby blanket. The yarn arrived quicker than expected. It is so soft and easy to work with. The strands don’t unravel easily either. I’m very happy with my purchase. This is the first time I’ve purchased yarn from somewhere other than the big box craft stores, and I’m happy to say I plan to do so again!

I adore this yarn! It is so soft and so wonderful and works up just beautifully. The stitch definition is gorgeous. It stitches up so nicely and the drape is stunning and I will definitely be back to buy it again. I made a gorgeous baby blanket and intend to make another with this yarn! The quality is superb!
