Woodlands is soft Alpaca blend consisting of 90% premium Acrylic, 10% Alpaca. The Woodlands yarn is in a ball approximately 200 yards and 100 grams, 3.5 oz of yarn. We recommend purchasing 1 ball of the Woodlands if you are crafting a toy or small dog cowl and purchasing 2 balls of the yarn if you are crafting a medium or large breed dog cowl, and 3 balls if you are crafting a giant breed cowl. If you tend to run out of yarn in your patterns and you are crafting a medium cowl, you also may want to purchase an additional skein
