Craft a cozy cardigan with the luxurious Mary Maxim Titan yarn and our pattern. Featuring shawl, flat shawl or windbreaker collar, set-in or raglan sleeves, button or zipper front. Small snowmobile on the left front. Designed using Mary Maxim Northland or Titan bulky weight yarns that offered 80 yds per skein at the time. With a wide variety of bulky yarns available today, including Mary Maxim Titan, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Materials List: Sz 8 MC Mary Maxim Titan White (6 skeins). Sz 10-12 MC White (7 skeins). All Sizes CC1 Yellow (1 skein), CC2 Black and CC3 Med Grey (20 yds), CC4 Lt Grey (10 yds), knitting needles size U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm). Fits children's sizes 8-10-12—Intermediate knit. This yarn is so much softer than the regular 100% yarn that comes in on the cones. I like working with it better.
You can't go wrong with Aunt Lydia's crochet thread. It is strong, very durable and washes well. Love, love, LOVE the blue color. Plan to make a top using this thread and can't wait to see the outcome.

I have been working on this project for the last week and am really enjoying it. The pattern is easy to follow and it is coming out nicely. I would just suggest that for the gold thread, use a little clear nail polish on the ends to keep it from unraveling
I started the afghan the same day my crochet club kit arrived and I finished it...working on and off...in about 3 days! And I was able to gift it to a family friend who has had some serious health issues recently...and she loved it! The yarn was beautiful and felt so nice to work with.
