Crafted using Serene Striping yarn, which provided 655 yards per 10.5 oz skein, and Mary Maxim Best Value yarn, which offered 290 yards per 6 oz skein, this pattern gives you plenty of yarn options. Choose from a variety of variegated, striped, or solid colors, in worsted-weight yarns, to customize your project exactly how you want. Materials List: Serene yarn (2 balls), Best Value (2 skeins), crochet hook size U.S. H/8 (5 mm). Finished size 50" (127 cm) square, Pillow 16" square (40.5 cm)—Intermediate crochet.

I've been using this sock yarn for years now and my son's girlfriend has been buying the socks from me to give to her friends. Everyone loves them! All the money I raise goes to a local charity that helps people who are homeless or need help. I am also giving a pair to each of the nurses who give me my monthly infusions. I was worried when there were only a few colors left so I went on a buying spree and I think I have enough yarn to last for a few years. I'm glad to see many of the favorite colors are back in stock, so I may have to snatch up some more when free shipping comes around again! (A suggestion to people who run out of yarn when making a pair: I use a solid color yarn for the toes and those socks are very popular)
