Introducing The Cottony One, a worsted weight yarn developed by Lion Brand in collaboration with Made With Love, created by Olympic gold medalist Tom Daley. This yarn is made of 60% cotton and 40% acrylic fiber, making it both soft and durable. It's perfect for creating a variety of items, such as jackets, sweaters, vest, scarves and mittens. Each ball of yarn weighs 3.5 oz (100 gm) and has 185 yds. (169 m) of yarn. Tom Daley, a celebrated athlete and crochet superstar, uses his craft to practice mindfulness, and you can too with this easy-care, machine washable and dryable yarn. Sugg. gauge: 17 sts. & 24 rows to 4" on size 8 needles.

I have used this yarn in the blueberry color for a different sweater. This time I bought the kit in the color Sweet Stuff. I just started this sweater and I love the way it is striping, just as shown in the photograph. The stripes were much thicker in the blueberry color. I like the stripes in the Sweet Stuff color better. This is a nice easy pattern to follow. It will be a gift for my daughter-in-law and we both are loving the way it is knitting up. The yarn is great to work with.
This is a new spin on tissue boxes! I love the idea of changing the top portion to go with the different seasons. Eliminates having to store an entire tissue box if you are one to change them out like I am. This for sure has gotten my creative juices flowing!
