Mary Maxim Bamboo Stripes Sock Yarn

I bought this yarn to knit a pair of socks. The yarn was finer than I was expecting and that intimidated me. But, it was heavenly soft so I decided to go ahead with the project. I have knit socks before with sock weight yarns with no problem. After several pains taking, failed attempts to knit with this yarn, I gave up trying to knit socks with it. It was too fine and slippery and I had trouble working with it. I felt like I had 10 thumbs! I saw a video on You Tube entitled "Navaho Knitting" which creates a 3-strand working yarn from one single ball. Using that technique, I am now knitting the most luxurious garter stitch wash cloth on the planet :)
