Star Blanket

I worked this in white, light blue and dark blue, alternating the blues and finishing with the dark blue for the edge. It finished up just in time for the baby and it turned out to be a superb swaddling blanket! The nurses at the birthing center were amazed at how a STAR can swaddle so nicely. - Put the baby on the blanket with his/her head toward one point. The lower two points come up to cover the legs and tummy and the two side points of the star embrace the baby all completely around to swaddle perfectly.
I also made another with the kit provided by Mary Maxim. It's just as delightful. I give this a ten out of ten rating. Thank you to whoever created the pattern.

This is a great blanket, that does work up fast. Of course the last 10 rounds take a little longer LOL, but it's a great blanket. Looks superb when done -- and you can be proud of giving it to someone as a gift.I ran out of white yarn, for some odd reason, but they were very nice about it, and said they would send another skein. Great company to get your items from.
