I really liked this afghan. It was easy to follow the instructions and the yarn was very soft. The only problem I had was the backstitched "Peek-a-boo!" words. I couldn't figure out the exclamation point at all, so I had to just leave it off. Other than that It was great. Plenty of yarn. I would recommend this product.
I also have the jungle & farmyard animal afghan kits, which I haven't yet begun.

I have been knitting and crocheting for many years and once in a while a very special project comes along. This is one of them. It is a bit hard to carry so many colors at once, but the outcome is well worth the effort. This project is dazzleing when completed and I am sure would delight any child. I would definately recommend the purchase of this item.

Did It My Way Review by Maryanne

This blanket is adorable and I'm in the middle of making it. But I must write for all those thinking of purchasing this, or who have already purchased it. The directions say to make starting chain for each square continuously, thereby working on the whole entire afghan across the width. This is way too many colors to handle, for my taste. Therefore, you can work on each block individually, and at the end of the row you can then attach to the next square with a slip stitch every other row. This comes out looking great, and makes it so much easier to manage. Even with that, it is not easy, and I also recommend balling up the yarn so that you have a lot of strands to attach when needed. I would also say it is at least intermediate, if not expert, based on the unique color changes and square-type design, all done in sc, btw. I'll post again when it's done!
