Marble Lap Blanket

I received this kit today and am enjoying it so much it's hard to put down. The pattern is really easy, the yarn is gorgeous (I got the jeweltone), and it knits up fast because you work it on size 11 needles. I used a marker on the left and right sides to show where it changes from knit to purl, and I added a neat edge by slipping the first stitch of every row and purling the last stitch of every row. It's very soft and cushy yarn, and the kit comes in a nice clear zippered case that you can keep the project in while you're working on it. It's the kind of knitting I like best--almost mindless, because with the markers on there you don't have to count stitches, just rows. Highly recommend. Would like to see more color options so I can knit it in more colors for gifts.
