Mary Maxim Sparkle Holiday Yarn

I ordered this yarn last year and made 37 Baby Hats for new born babies at a Hospital. This morning i got a picture of the nurses holding 3 of their favorites up. it brought tears to my eyes, that they all loved these hats. I created some to look like Santa hats, and others green with strips or red with strips. It was a joy to make them. The yarn is easy to work with. Thank you Mary maxim for the Sparkle Holiday Yarn

I made hats for my grandaughters last year that turned out so pretty and soft. I also have made some "elegant" fingerless mitts as well. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. Have tried other metallic yarns in the past that were scratchy to work with and to wear. This has just enough metallic stranding to give it a shimmer without being over the top. I like the good stitch definition with this as well. Plan to stock up before the sale goes off! One complaint with washing, one hat was accidentally put it in the dryer with a pair of snowpants and it pulled the hat out of shape. Maybe best to use a lingerie bag or lay flat to dry
